ENGLISH 9 PRE AP
I will return the midterms. Each student will have an opportunity to view his or her paper and ask any question(s) regarding his or her midterm score. We will proceed to complete a group assignment . Each group will be responsible for completing a variety to questions pertaining to the remaining chapters within the book. Each group will select a person to share the information with the class as we disect and discuss the presentation. The Pride and Prejudice test will take place Jan. 13th for my A Day classes and Jan. 14th for my B Day classes.

I will return their midterms. We will discuss and review the items covered on their midterm. Each student will place the remaining AHSGE objectives in his or her composition notebook. We will proceed to review the remaining AHSGE objectives and complete a variety of writing assignments such as journal entries, essays, business letters, etc. It is designed to prepare them for the Alabama High School Graduation Exam in the area of Language and Reading. It is also designed to prepare them for the Alabama Writing Assessment next year. I look forward to a productive year!

Due to this being a B week, I will only meet with this class twice this week. I will return their midterms. We will discuss and review the items covered on their midterm. We will proceed on Friday to review the AHSGE objectives and complete a mock writing assessment essay prompt. It is designed to prepare them for the Alabama High School Graduation Exam in the area of Language and Reading. It is also designed to prepare them for the Alabama Writing Assessment. I look forward to a productive year!

It's 2011! I look forward to a productive year. I am excited about the 2011 NCTHS yearbook. I am also very excited that it is almost over :) We will discuss ad sales, and the February deadline this week. We will proceed to setting a date for the group photos that will take place this month. Once again, I look forward to a productive and HAPPY NEW YEAR.
