A Day
Monday (September 23) - Due to the NCTHS and CHS library orientation, they will complete their A Lesson Before Dying test Monday.
Wednesday (September 25) - I will return the test papers and discuss it with them. They will proceed to their group and begin identifying major and minor characters, and cause/effect relationships within To Kill A Mockingbird.
Friday (September 26) - They will complete a To Kill A Mockingbird review packet using their book. We will discuss the packet Monday. They will take their test Wednesday September 1, 2010.

I will also return their atutobiographies. As I return their autobiographies, I will address their grammatical and mechanical areas of concern in their composition notebook. Due to the class participating in the NCTHS and CHS library orientation, they were unable to take their test on The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglas An American Slave when we returned to the classroom last Friday. Therefore, they will take their test Tuesday September 24, 2010. After the test, we will review intensive and reflexive pronouns using their Grammar and Language workbook. After the review, they will complete another practice exercise regarding reflexive and intensive pronouns. If time permits, I will return and discuss any errors within their descriptive essays.

The staff was able to view her presentation regarding the Web Ease program that will allow them to construct their page(s). After the presentation, there was a Q&A session regarding the program. Once it was complete, each student selected their user name and password. The computer lab wasn't available at the time. Therefore, the staff will begin constructing their pages Monday September 23, 2010. The staff will also select a cover and begin gathering information for the page(s) . They are excited and looking forward to capturing the memories of 2010-2011.

NCTHS students and parents:
As you all know, its that time of year again. The summer is over ,and school is officially in session.
