  3. I liked it. I especially like how he tied in every thought Santiago had to the end of the book.
    [SPOILER ALERT]
Like how at the beginning Santiago is thinking about going to the old chapel, exactly where the treasure really is.

Good at times because it kept me concentrated on it. It had some interesting parts that i liked.
Bad at times because it doesn't really keep your attention. Its real easy to get distracted with this book. Thats basically my thoughts lol.

  5. I thought The Alchemist was a somewhat good book. It wasn't my favorite and I probably wouldn't read it again because I really don't like to read. The book had some interesting parts that caught my attention but overall I'm glad I took the time to read it and I'm glad it's over!

  12. I did not like the book. It was boring. The ending of the book made me mad because he ended up finding the treasure in the place where he was in the beginning of the book.

  15. Overall I liked the book, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It teaches that you have to sacrifice to find your treasure. This book also teaches that there is a language understood by everyone without speaking and I agree with the author on this. The main character makes many important decisions and learns valuable lessons throughout the story.

  16. I like the book, because it had many interesting and good quotes that can apply to everyday life for example a quote from the book that I think is good is when the crystal merchant states that he doesn’t like changes just like some people don’t like changes in everyday life.

  17. I was surprised by the book, I normally don't like required reading, because the subject matter is not always my first choice of reading. This book was different and kept me interested from beginning to end.

  25. The Alchemist was actually a good book. It had more action in it than I thought it would. What was intersting to me was the signs and omens Santiago saw while on his journey.
